Well I made the official move and I'm sitting at my desk in my NEW room trying to unwind from a crazy day. The drive was the easy part, it's the endless packing and unpacking that's exhausting. After unpacking most of my stuff, I had a fantastic first night cooking dinner with the roomies. We found comedic relief in that fact that everything in this apartment is really tall and up high and Keri and I are really short, but being determined small fries, we try to put away things only to have tuperware and baking supplies fall on our faces and in turn make a bigger mess. Sigh. Tonight we also got to meet 2/3 of the guys who live below us...they are also in the PA program.
Tomorrow I'm off to meet my new GI doctor in at Yale-New Haven Hosp. While I may be coping better with my motility disorders than I used to, I still have stomach issues constantly so I thought it would be smart to get a dr. down here. The rest of this week will be focused around doing fun things with the roomies...possibly a hike on the Sleeping Giant, some rock climbing with Kawal, maybe a visit to Mystic Seaport and Mohegan Sun/Foxwoods...doing Connecticut-y things while we still can. Oh and when the weather gets nicer, I'm taking advantage of our swimming pools...more for the sun bathing I'm sure. ;-)
